We eat a lot of rice in my house. Besides my rice cooker, this rice strainer gets used almost every single day. White rice needs to be rinsed before cooking so this strainer makes it so quick and easy.
When I first saw this rice paddle, I knew I had to have one. I leave it standing next to my rice cooker ready to scoop the warm rice I keep on for hours. The top of this rice paddle has a very soft edge that protects the non-stick coating bowl that is found in most rice cookers. Totally genius.
For every recipe (and there are so many) that uses lemon zest or grated ginger, this tool is indispensable.
When I went to Amazon to look up the link for this item, it shows my purchase history and I have this exact set of mixing bowls since 2016. I own other sets but this truly is a better quality set. The bowls are thick and the plastic lids are still perfect and snug. I use these daily.
One of the things you don't know you need until you try it. Now I can never go back to waiting for my washed lettuce to fully drain in the colander.
I find myself needing this a few times a week. One of the most simplest tools, I can squeeze every last drop of juice out of my lemons while it strains the pulp and seeds.
I think I went through 5 or 6 different purchases before I found this set. The round ice is small enough to fit into the 18 oz. Yeti bottles and not block the straw that sits down the center of the bottle. The square ice mold is larger than the round ice and fits great into larger water bottles. Looks fabulous in cocktails too! What I like best about these ice molds is that these are so easy to fill. It boggles my mind how so many other sets are just so difficult to fill, keep closed, not leak or remove from molds. Look no further. This set checks all the boxes.
This is the best designed ice mold for large round ice. So easy to fill- just fill filtered water to the line indicated and press the silicone top over it and you're done! It's secure and won't leak while it freezes. Also so easy to remove from the mold.
Perfectly sized for cocktails and short cups. For any drinks with ice, I need straws and so easy to clean in the dishwasher.
This set is perfect for so many uses. This is a favorite for baking chewy cookies that doesn't get too brown on the bottom compared to my darker baking sheets.
Great pan for even baking.
Not just for mini muffins, these are great for so many desserts like mini cheesecakes and other bite sized treats.
This is the loaf pan I use for all my bread loaf baking.
This set completes my pyrex collection. So versatile, stacks well, dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. I have pieces that are 20+ years old and they all get used A LOT.
Really good knives makes cooking a real joy. There is not a single time when I picked up one of these knives and not marvel at how amazingly sharp they are.
This set Includes: 3.5" Paring Knife, 5" Chef's Prep Knife, 6" Serrated Utility Knife, 7" Hollow Edge Asian Chef's Knife, 8" Chef's Knife, 8.5" Bread Knife, Global Kitchen Shears & 7 Slot Acacia Wood Knife Block
Because I love Global Knives so much, I gifted this set to my brother when he moved in to his new home. I love the way this looks so neat and modern on his countertop. This set includes 3" Paring Knife, 4.5" Utility Knife, 5" Chef's Utility/Prep Knife, 5.5" Nakiri Knife, 8" Chef's Knife, 8" Bread Knife & Bamboo/Acrylic Knife Block
I would spend the extra minute digging through my utensil drawer to find this spreader rather than using my butter knife. It truly is perfect for cream cheese, peanut butter, nutella, jams and spreads.
When I was copying this link, Amazon says I purchased this 5 times. Sounds about right. Instead of using saran wrap or paper towels to cover plates in the microwave, this screen is so easy to use and clean. Dries in minutes and stores folded and tucked away in my utensil drawer taking up almost no space. It's one of those things that when people come over and see me use it, they immediately order one for themselves. They do get worn out after hundreds of uses, so I've been replacing them about once every 2 to 3 years or so. And I've been using this for about 16+ years!
A must for every baker. This fits a half sheet pan perfectly.
This is the 2nd set of cutting boards and it complements my other set. This set also has 4 boards, each one designated for bread, fruit, vegetables and meats (which I use only for red meat). The 2 doubles I have are bread and vegetables, but I actually use those so much that I often have one board drying on my dish rack and the doubles gives me a dry one to use.
I like to make big batches of empanadas and freeze them so my teenagers can pop them in the toaster oven whenever they are hungry, which is often. When folding by hand, I'll admit, they look horrible. This empanada maker makes me look like a pro, so the only thing I really need to worry about is making a good flaky dough and a delicious filling. They are perfect for making dumplings as well.
A kitchen scale is not negotiable. The variation in weight and volume can make or break a recipe.
With unlimited range, monitor your cooking from anywhere. Great for smoking too.
Not too stiff and not too soft, this is sturdy enough to handle practically all types of cooking while gentle on cookware and able to scrape everything off a bowl.
Remember having to let your ice cream sit on the countertop for 5+ minutes to give it time to soften? Every minute felt like a hour when all you wanted was some ice cream, right now. If you have a heated ice cream scooper, you will never have to wait again.
Great brush for mopping sauce, egg washes and brushing on oil.
Stick this cake tester in to the middle of you baked goods to determine if it is ready. If it comes out clean, it's done! This tester is 6 inches long.
Works with most standard cake recipes portioned for two 9-inch layers or three 8-inch layers. Make tall, stunning, five layers of cake with this set of cake pans.
Admittedly, I have 2 of these. I love it so much. This one has a wider and lower container so it tucks neatly under my cabinets. So many settings, so many uses and so powerful. I clean it buy adding warm water and a drop of dish soup into the container and set it to clean mode and it cleans itself right up. The hardest part is letting it dry.
Baking, whipping, mixing, kneading. It's worth the investment.
In the warmer months, the freezer bowl of my ice cream maker has a permanent spot inside my freezer. So easy to whip of homemade ice cream in minutes.
If I can fit it in this toaster oven, I would use this instead of my regular oven. I don't even bother to preheat it because it gets to temperature so quickly. Reheat anything and everything in half the time it takes a regular oven.
I am not sure how I would be able to function in my kitchen without one. For someone who cooks as much as I do, I find chopping to be such a chore. Chopping, mincing, grating, slicing, shredding, this does it all. And clean up is tossing all the parts into the dishwasher.
I went through a phase where I sous vide everything, even my Thanksgiving Turkey. It truly is a wonderful way to cook. From pork butt, to filet mignon, the precision can not be beat.
I use this every day, sometimes multiple times day, for the past 10 years. Matcha lattes, chai lattes, hot cocoa, plain steamed milk, coffee lattes. If I am home, I have a drink on the table at all times, made by this machine. I do have a fancy espresso machine at home but cleaning that is just complicated. My Maestri Milk Frother just makes really good drinks and clean up is so easy. I even bring it on vacation with me.
