Easy Maple Pecan Granola Recipe with Chia Seeds

Homemade Granola is so simple to pull off. It’s crunchy, salty, sweet, and made however you like. It offers a level of freshness that store-bought granola simply can’t match. Dried cherries really shine here by offering a sweet tartness, but you can use dried cranberries instead. The combination of maple syrup and brown sugar helps round out all the textures without making the granola clumpy, like honey can do.
Always keep some homemade granola on hand for layering over thick Greek yogurt. Eat it like a cereal by adding your favorite milk. Sprinkle over fresh fruit to add a crunchy layer to a healthy snack. Grab a slice of bread, slather a layer of peanut butter and top with granola. The possibilities are endless.
